As the Director, Commercial Legal at Seismic, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding the company’s growth within the global SaaS industry. You will be a trusted legal partner to the sales, security, finance, and go-to-market (GTM) teams, offering proactive, business-minded legal counsel that aligns with our strategic goals and ensures compliance with evolving regulations. Your expertise in commercial contracting, data privacy, and emerging technologies will be key to developing scalable legal processes that support our expanding global presence.
You will be responsible for managing the drafting, negotiation, and maintenance of complex commercial agreements, with a particular focus on data processing, vendor, partnership, and sales contracts. Additionally, you will drive initiatives to scale the commercial legal function, fostering a high-performing team and collaborating across departments to ensure alignment with the company’s vision.

Seismic's annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant's location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment market data. The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range.
Seismic's salary range for this position is: USD $187,000.00/Yr. - USD $260,000.00/Yr.
This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic's incentive plans in addition to base salary. The actual incentive amount will very and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.
