We are looking for a skilled Curriculum Developer to join our team who will be responsible for creating engaging, innovative, and interactive learning experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate has experience using adult learning principles, proven course design and development methodologies, and is highly proficient in using course authoring and multimedia design and development tools. This is a highly consultative and collaborative role, working with key stakeholders across the organization to identify customer education needs, make solution recommendations, and rapidly develop short-form content to meet customer needs.  

 

The Curriculum Developer is a key member of the Customer Education team. This position will be responsible for the rapid design, development, and maintenance of high-impact educational content. This role combines instructional design expertise with a strong focus on agility and content accuracy, ensuring that customers receive timely and relevant learning experiences aligned with the evolving Seismic platform. 

 

This role will support the Customer Education & Certification function, will focus on customer-facing deliverables, and is aligned with the Customer Success organization.

What you'll be doing:

  • Rapidly develop customer-facing educational content, including:

    • Short-form video tutorials

    • Interactive iorad walkthroughs

    • Product release training materials

    • Micro Courses

    • Digital guides and job aids 

  • Using AI tools for efficiency and productivity in the rapid development and maintenance of content
  • Automating development and maintenance processes to improve efficiency and output
  • Maintain and update existing content to reflect product enhancements and changes, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Apply instructional design methodologies to create engaging, effective, and scalable learning experiences
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather input, validate content, and align on messaging and deliver
  • Manage the content lifecycle, including version control, updates, and retirement of outdated materials
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand, tone, and instructional quality standards
  • Analyze learner feedback and performance data to inform continuous improvement efforts
  • Occasional travel for team building and conference support   

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and performance-based instructional design

  • Background in customer education, enablement, or product training

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

Seismic's annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant's location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment market data. The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range.

Seismic's salary range for this position is: USD $61,200.00/Yr. - USD $105,500.00/Yr.

This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic's incentive plans in addition to base salary. The actual incentive amount will very and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.
