  • General data enthusiast who enjoys understanding the data lifecycle from ingest, through transformation, and into visualization
  • Agile sprint planner and executor with the ability to properly scope project requirements and reprioritize as needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or other related technical discipline

  • Proficient with the data structures and objects of typical CRM platforms
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Experience with Gainsight, Financial Force PSA, or Marketo is a plus
  • Ability to effectively QA and troubleshoot data
  • Excellent attention to detail

What you'll be doing:

  • Own much of the ETL process in Snowflake and dbt to model complex datasets to be used in enterprise-wide Tableau reporting, often using new data sources
  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Data Analysts, Global Operations, Go-To-Market, and Finance teams to evaluate stakeholder requirements for upcoming projects and assist with project scope from a technical perspective
  • Apply software engineering best practices to analytics code such as version control, testing, continuous integration
  • Document processes, architecture of systems/data flows, project plans, using the agile methodology in Jira and Confluence
  • Advise leaders, analysts, and developers with the intention of furthering data quality, standards, best practices and uses
  • Implement tests and alerts that ensure the data pipeline flows smoothly and prevents any bad data from getting to production reporting
