Overview

Customers invest in Seismic Learning to transform the way that learning and training

happens inside their organizations via best-in-class training software. However, many

of them desire an extra set of hands to launch faster, think more strategically, and

deliver more to their teams than they otherwise could under their own power.

 

Enter the Services Team, which partners with our customers to design training

programs, develop training content, and maintain their accounts in a way that ensures a

higher overall likelihood of achieving their business outcomes. The Learning Consultant

is responsible for supporting, guiding, and managing the quality and delivery of training

content to our customers. This role will oversee the entire cycle of a customer’s training development, from inception to planning, to building, and finally deployment.

 

As the overseer of the customer’s training content, the Learning Consultant will also be expected to be knowledgeable on learning and development practices while also having a profound understanding of adult learning principles.

 

Customers also use their Learning Consultant to create their internal lesson building best practices and content builder functionality to provide recommendations to improve the customer’s experience.

Team in terms of quality and timely delivery. Excelling as a Learning Consultant will

mean that customers see this individual as a partner in making their training content

impactful and engaging.

 

Who you are:

  • Experience in development of corporate training content preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, or Learning and Development
  • Experience with training software, Seismic Learning preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience in either training, writing, or teaching preferred
  • Knowledge of the ADDIE model, Kirkpatrick Method or Understanding by Design preferred
  • Attention to detail, ability to provide clarity through critical thinking, and active listening
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • 2-3 years of project management experience
  • Curiosity to learn more about other companies and become an expert in their industry
  • Polished writing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

What you'll be doing:

  • Meet with customers regularly to provide learning and development consultation, curriculum mapping, and training deployment.
  • Develop full cycle learning and development plans with customers utilizing the Seismic and Seismic Learning platform
  • Relationship build with customers to gather context and relevant information for upcoming content projects and facilitate discussion on areas of proposed improvements to training
  • Project manage the transformation of customer’s existing training content (SCORM files, video recordings, PDFs) into training in Seismic Learning
  • Provide prescriptive feedback, direction, and specific consulting services to customers based on their needs, industry, and training material
  • Identify which content offerings best meet the customer's needs to optimize the value adds from our services
  • Lead content mapping session to solidify timelines, assign ownership, and prioritize delivery of content
  • Create long and short-term training development plans with the customer based on their SOWs, SLAs, and training needs.
  • Facilitate subject matter expert interviews for knowledge transfer or developing content to fill identified training program gaps
  • Provide consultation on the Seismic Learning builder and content best practices to improve user engagement and experience
  • Manage the full cycle of content requests by developing work requirements, scoping projects, submitting the requests, and managing the development of content by our eLearning Development Team
  • Manage project scope and schedule. Keep stakeholders updated via Monday board and FinancialForce.
  • Manage planned hours in package by monitoring and reporting hours and making recommendations to the customer on the best use of hours
  • Adjust schedules and targets as needed based on customer priorities and team SLAs
  • Perform quality control review of all projects to check for accuracy, context, and custom branding to maintain high standards on deliverables
  • Work with the customer to make any necessary adjustments prior to launching to end users
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Seismic's annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant's location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment market data. The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range.

Seismic's salary range for this position is: USD $53,200.00/Yr. - USD $91,800.00/Yr.

This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic's incentive plans in addition to base salary. The actual incentive amount will very and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.
