Overview

We are looking for a Director, Event Marketing to lead the planning and delivery of high-impact flagship events that drive business outcomes, strengthen customer relationships, and elevate brand presence.

Our events are a core part of how we show up to customers and the market. We are known for delivering thoughtful, high-quality experiences with a strong focus on the attendee. This role is about setting and maintaining a high bar for experiences that resonate with customers and prospects while delivering business impact.

This leader will own the strategy and execution of our flagship and tier 1 external events working closely with a high-performing team, external agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings both strategic clarity and operational rigor—someone who can build a scalable events function while effectively partnering with internal stakeholders, vendors, sponsors  and creative teams to deliver exceptional experiences.

EVENT PORTFOLIO REQUIRED

Who you are:

  • 10 years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS corporate events, including approximately 5 years of leadership experience
  • Proven ability to lead teams while balancing strategic ownership and hands-on execution
  • Experience leading complex, differentiated, high-visibility event experiences end-to-end with a focus on business impact
  • Ability to partner effectively with executive producers, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of event production, logistics, and experiential execution
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and external partners, including sponsorships
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, collaboration, and executive communication skills
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Excellent communicator at all levels in and out of the organization
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel (~30%)

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and lead the corporate events strategy for flagship and tier 1 external events, including prioritization and investment aligned to company goals
  • Own end-to-end event delivery, ensuring measurable business impact and exceptional attendee experiences, and stepping in to lead key workstreams as needed
  • Set a high bar for event quality and attendee experience across all programs
  • Provide leadership for key events, partnering closely with executive producers and brand and content teams to shape content, run of show, and overall experience
  • Oversee event production in partnership with internal teams and external agencies, ensuring excellence across branding, staging, AV, logistics, and onsite delivery
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team while building scalable processes and operational rigor
  • Manage budgets, vendors, and agency relationships to maximize ROI and efficiency
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Executive Leadership to align priorities and outcomes
  • Establish success metrics and continuously improve event performance, processes, and scalability
